Arman Tsarukuyan Confirms He Is Backup For UFC 317

It appears Arman Tsarukyan will indeed be the backup at UFC 317.



The No. 1 ranked UFC lightweight contender posted a photo with F1 driver Nikita Mazepin and in the comments section, he responded to a fan saying “I’m the backup for UFC 317.”



Tsarukyan had recently volunteered to be the backup, but never confirmed he was the official designated backup for the lightweight title fight between Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira.



Tsarukyan also has expressed interest in being the backup for the BMF title fight at UFC 318 between Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier.

Edmen Shahbazyan Heavily Favored In UFC Showdown Against Gerald Meerschaert

Edmen Shahbazyan is trying to build a winning streak.

The Golden Boy returns to the octagon Saturday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas for a middleweight showdown against Gerald Meerschaert.

Shahbazyan is coming off a first-round knockout win against A.J. Dobson in March, and is aiming for his first winning streak since 2019 when he entered the UFC by winning his first three bouts.

The Armenian is a heavy favorite on DraftKings at -325.

Isaac Dulgarian’s MMA career is off to a blazing start. He has five first-round finishes in his first five career pro fights. In his last fight, he won the FAC featherweight belt in front of Dana White and earned a UFC contract in the process.
