Arman Tsarukyan Predicts Second-Round Submission At UFC Vegas 49

Arman Tsarukyan is doubling down on himself.

During Wednesday’s media availability, the No. 13-ranked UFC lightweight contender made a prediction for his fight against Joel Alvarez at UFC Vegas 49 on Saturday night.

“I’m going to dominate him,” Tsarukyan said. “Second round, I will choke him.”

For the record, according to Vegas sportsbooks, a second-round submission for Tsarukyan has +1400 odds.

Tsarukyan is 4-1 in the UFC and has won four straight after losing his debut. He earned his first career finish in September against Christos Giagos.

The Armenian from Akhalkalaki also outlined his goals for the rest of the year saying he wants to fight three times and set himself up for a title shot in early 2023.
