Gegard Mousasi Destroys Austin Vanderford To Retain Bellator Belt

Gegard Mousasi made it look easy again.

The Dutch-Armenian dominated Austin Vanderford via first-round knockout to hold on to the Bellator middleweight belt.

This is Mousasi’s second title defense after he knocked out John Salter at Bellator 264 in 2021. He has won 12 of his last 13 fights dating back to 2015.

The MMA community reacted to Mousasi’s victory after the fight.

Mousasi wins via first-round TKO. Vicious stuff. He continues to get better with age. Vanderford suffers his first pro loss.
