Berj Najarian Joins Michigan Football Program as Assistant GM/Strategy

In a significant move for the Michigan football program, Berj Najarian has been appointed as the assistant general manager/strategy. His experience is expected to bring valuable expertise to first-year head coach Kyle Whittingham as they navigate the complexities of college football.

Berj Najarian has officially joined the University of Michigan as the assistant general manager/strategy for the football team, according to reports from prominent sports journalist Pete Thamel. In his new role, Najarian will collaborate closely with first-year head coach Kyle Whittingham, focusing on contract negotiations and developing strategic approaches for the program.

Najarian, who has a wealth of experience in football administration, previously served as the chief of staff for Bill O’Brien at Boston College. Before that, he spent an impressive 24 years with the New England Patriots, where he was the director of football/head coach administration under legendary coach Bill Belichick. During his tenure with the Patriots, Najarian contributed to the team’s success, helping them secure six Super Bowl championships.

His extensive background in high-pressure environments is expected to bolster Michigan’s efforts as they look to enhance their competitiveness in college football.
