In his interview with ESPN, Tsarukyan stated, “It’s hard to accept, but it’s a business,” indicating his disappointment at being sidelined for a title opportunity he believes he deserves.

The Armenian fighter went on to critique Pimblett’s rapid ascent within the UFC, suggesting that the organization is taking lenient measures to expedite his progress in the division. Tsarukyan confidently asserted that he is the rightful contender for the title, dismissing the current elite matchups that overlook his qualifications.
