Armenia Falls to 106th in FIFA World Rankings After Friendly Loss

In the latest FIFA World Rankings released on April 1, Armenia has dropped one position to 106th after suffering a 2–1 defeat against Belarus in a friendly match held in Yerevan.

The loss against Belarus marked a disappointing result for Armenia, as the team aimed to build on its previous performances. This drop in rank comes at a crucial time as the national squad prepares for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches. Currently, Armenia sits behind Montenegro in their group but remains ahead of Cyprus and Latvia. The team will look to regain its footing with two friendly matches scheduled in June against Kazakhstan and Moldova. Meanwhile, France ascends to the top of the rankings, overtaking Spain, while Argentina, the reigning world champions, maintains third place. The changes in rankings reflect the dynamic nature of international football and the ongoing efforts of teams to improve their standings on the global stage.
