In a thrilling match on Friday, the United States showcased its strength as they overwhelmed Paraguay, taking an early lead with a seventh-minute own goal from Paraguay’s Damián Bobadilla. The U.S. attack, spearheaded by forwards Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie, continued to apply pressure throughout the first half.
Folarin Balogun emerged as a key player, netting two goals before halftime, which solidified the U.S. lead at 3-0.
