Arman Tsarukyan Challenges Ryan Garcia to $40,000 Bet Amidst Boxing Showdown Controversy
In a recent livestream, UFC fighter Arman Tsarukyan called out WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia, challenging him to a high-stakes $40,000 bet centered around a boxing match involving his teammate Rafayel Simonyan.
During a livestream earlier this month, Arman Tsarukyan instigated a betting challenge with renowned boxer Ryan Garcia, claiming Garcia would be unable to drop his teammate, Rafayel Simonyan, with a body shot. Following multiple attempts by Garcia that failed to meet the challenge, Tsarukyan emerged victorious in the wager. However, as of now, Garcia has yet to fulfill the payment of $40,000.
In a subsequent phone conversation, both fighters verbally agreed to resolve the outstanding bet through an unconventional boxing match. This proposed eight-round fight would permit the use of elbows, adding another layer of excitement and controversy.
Despite the initial intrigue surrounding this matchup, experts indicate that the fight is unlikely to occur due to Tsarukyan’s commitments to the UFC, which may inhibit his ability to engage in such an event outside of his contractual obligations.
