Hamlet Manukyan Crowned Europe’s 2025 Male Gymnast of the Year

Eighteen-year-old Hamlet Manukyan has made history by winning the title of Europe’s 2025 Male Gymnast of the Year, securing over one million votes in the process.

In a historic achievement, Hamlet Manukyan, an 18-year-old gymnast from Armenia, has been named Europe’s 2025 Male Gymnast of the Year after receiving 1,030,759 votes, which constitutes 51% of the total votes cast.

Manukyan’s remarkable year has been highlighted by a series of athletic successes, including winning gold at the European Championships and claiming three gold medals at prestigious World Cup events. His contributions to the sport have been further recognized with the official naming of a new gymnastics element, the ‘Manukyan’, honoring his innovative techniques on the pommel horse.
