Marat Grigorian Set for Potential Title Shot Against Superbon at ONE 175

Marat Grigorian may soon face off against reigning unified featherweight kickboxing champion Superbon in a highly anticipated tetralogy bout at ONE 175 in Tokyo on April 29, according to reports from the Bangkok Post.

The potential matchup marks the fourth encounter between Grigorian and Superbon, who have previously faced each other three times, with Superbon emerging victorious in two of those contests. Grigorian’s recent struggles in ONE Championship include three consecutive losses in championship bouts, two of which were at the hands of Superbon.

Despite his setbacks in ONE, Grigorian holds titles from other promotions such as Glory and Kunlun, but he has yet to secure a title in ONE Championship.

In a positive turn for the Armenian fighter, Grigorian is currently on a two-fight winning streak; his latest victory came against Rukiya Anpo at ONE 173 this past weekend, reigniting hope for his title aspirations. The upcoming bout against Superbon could be pivotal for Grigorian as he aims to capture his first belt in ONE Championship.
