Hamlet Manukyan Finishes Fourth in Pommel Horse at 2025 World Championships

In a disappointing outcome for the reigning European champion, Hamlet Manukyan secured fourth place in the pommel horse event at the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Liverpool this weekend.

The 18-year-old gymnast had shown great promise leading up to the competition, having previously won a gold medal at the European Championships. He also delivered a strong performance during the qualification rounds, finishing among the top three competitors. However, Manukyan faced intense pressure in the finals and was unable to replicate his earlier successes.

The event showcased a high level of competition, with several gymnasts delivering exceptional routines. Despite the setback, Manukyan’s resilience and skill have established him as a formidable talent on the international gymnastics scene. He is expected to continue his training and aim for future competitions, including upcoming World Cup events and the next European Championships.
