ESPN’s Tim Kurkjian Wins BBWAA’s Highest Honor — Career Excellence Award
Longtime ESPN analyst Tim Kurkjian is being honored for his four decades of covering Major League Baseball.
The 65-year-old is the recipient of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America’s Career Excellence Award — the highest honor awarded by the association.
The award is handed annually “for meritorious contributions to baseball writing.”
Kurkjian will be honored at Hall of Fame ceremonies throughout the summer for his achievement.
