Rafik Harutyunyan Captures Gold At U-23 European Weightlifting Championship
The Armenians continue their success at the 2021 European Junior & U23 Weightlifting Championships.
Rafik Harutyunyan lifted a total of 345 kg, including 190 kg during the clean-and-jerk exercise to capture gold in the U-23 81-kg division in Finland.
Harutyunyan lifted one more kilogram than second-place winner Aleksandr Urvachev of Russia. He joins Garnik Cholakyan (Juniors – 55 kg) and Gor Sahakyan (Juniors – 67 kg) at the championships.
