Paul Virdokian, Little League Team From Manchester, Conn. Advance To Little League World Series

Youngster Paul Virdokian and his teammates from Manchester, Connecticut are headed to Williamsport, Pa.

The Little League squad from Manchester defeated the team from Peabody, Mass., 7-4, in the New England Region semifinal to advance to the Little League World Series, which will take place from August 19-29.

Virdokian is the catcher for the Manchester team and the lower-third display during the ESPN telecast showed that the young star speaks Armenian.
