Athletics Pitcher James Kaprielian Returns From Injured List, Earns Win Against Rangers
James Kaprielian made quite a statement in his return from the injured list on Sunday afternoon.
The Oakland Athletics pitcher delivered six strong innings, while allowing two earned runs and got the win against the Texas Rangers. Kaprielian hadn’t pitched since July 27, when he allowed six runs against the San Diego Padres and later landed on the IL due to a shoulder impingement.
The victory puts Oakland just two games behind the Houston Astros in the American League West division.
