Olympic Gymnastics: Artur Davtyan Makes History Becoming First Armenian Gymnast To Win Olympic Medal

Artur Davtyan has made history in Tokyo.

The Armenian gymnast became the first athlete representing Armenia to win an Olympic medal by capturing the bronze in the vault apparatus on Monday night in Tokyo.

Davtyan averaged a 14.733 in his two vault attempts to finish third among the eight finalists — just 0.05 points show of gold medalst Shin Jea-hwan of South Korea.
