Olympic Men’s Wrestling: ARMEN MELIKYAN FALLS SHORT OF MEDALING IN GRECO-ROMAN 60 KG BRACKET

Armen Melikyan’s started with a close win, but ended with a tough loss.

The Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler lost to Ukraine’s Lenur Temirov of the quarterfinals in the men’s 60-kg bracket, ending his chances to medal in the tournament.

Melikyan’s Saturday started with a victory over Iran’s Alireza Nejati in the Round of 16, but his 8-4 loss to Temirov eliminated him from medal contention.
