Arman Darchinyan’s quest for Olympic gold came to a sudden halt on Sunday morning.>

The Armenian middleweight boxer was knocked out by Eumir Marcial of the Philippines in the first round of quarterfinals at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Darchinyan’s run comes to an end after he dominated Andrej Csemez of Slovakia in the Round of 16 of the middleweight bracket.
