Armenia remains in contention for promotion in the UEFA Nations League C Group 2, following a scoreless draw against Montenegro that leaves them just three points behind second-place Cyprus with two matches to go.

Armenia currently sits in third place in UEFA Nations League C Group 2, accumulating four points after a scoreless draw against Montenegro on Monday. With only two matches left in the group stage, Armenia is trailing second-place Cyprus by three points. Montenegro leads the group with 10 points, while Latvia remains at the bottom with just one point.

Looking ahead, Armenia will host Cyprus on November 12, a crucial match that presents an opportunity for Armenia to level the points with Cyprus in the race for second place. Following this, they will conclude the group stage against Latvia on November 15.

The stakes are high as the group winner secures automatic promotion to League B, while the runner-up will advance to a promotion playoff scheduled for March 2027. This upcoming match against Cyprus will be pivotal for Armenia’s aspirations in the tournament.
