Edgar Sevikyan is making a significant move back to Spain, having joined Segunda División side AD Ceuta on loan from Ferencváros for the remainder of the 2026/27 season. This transfer marks a return to Spanish football for the 25-year-old Armenian international, who previously spent four years within Levante’s youth system and played for their reserve team.
Sevikyan’s career has seen him take on various challenges, including recent loan spells with Lokomotiv Moscow and Akron Tolyatti. Despite the changes, he has made a mark at Ferencváros, appearing in 21 official matches, contributing two goals and one assist, and notably helping the club secure the Hungarian league title.
With this move, Sevikyan becomes the second Armenian footballer linked to Ceuta, joining fellow international Hrant Leon Ranos in Spain’s second division. This transition is expected to further his development and provide him with more opportunities on the pitch.
