Armenian-American welterweight Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani will meet undefeated Azerbaijani prospect Farman Hasanov on October 31 at the UFC Apex, setting up a Halloween-night matchup with regional significance.
Lebosnoyani announced the bout himself, and expectations are high for an aggressive contest between two finishers. He enters the fight with an 11-2 professional record and a 2-0 mark since joining the UFC, having defeated Phil Rowe and SeokHyeon Ko. Lebosnoyani has now won six consecutive fights since moving up to the welterweight division, a run that has built momentum behind his push toward the promotion’s rankings. Hasanov, 31, arrives unbeaten at 6-0 as a professional and 1-0 inside the UFC. He made his promotional debut in June in Baku, taking a unanimous-decision win over Eric Nolan. Four of his six career victories have come by knockout, underlining the power he brings into the Octagon. The pairing also carries added context beyond the standings, positioning an Armenian fighter opposite an Azerbaijani opponent in a UFC cage on October 31.
