Armenian gymnasts Hamlet Manukyan and Mamikon Khachatryan claimed silver and bronze respectively on pommel horse at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Zagreb.
Manukyan scored 15.000 to secure second place, while Khachatryan followed with 14.900 for third, putting two Armenians on the same apparatus podium. The pommel horse results came on a productive day for the national team, as Artur Avetisyan won European gold on rings. Together, the three performances gave Armenia three medals from Friday’s apparatus finals in Zagreb. Both pommel horse medallists arrived in the final with strong recent records. Manukyan adds to his continental collection after winning European gold in 2025. Khachatryan builds on last year’s European silver and the silver he claimed at the 2025 World Championships, underlining his consistency on the apparatus at both continental and world level. The double podium continues Armenia’s established strength on pommel horse, an event in which the country has repeatedly produced medallists at major international championships.
