Hagop Marmarian, an accomplished thrower at California State University, Fullerton, achieved a remarkable personal record of 15.53 meters (50 feet, 11.5 inches) in the shot put during the Titan Tune-Up Track & Field Meet, securing his spot at the upcoming Big West Track & Field Championships.
Marmarian’s outstanding performance at the Titan Tune-Up not only highlights his dedication and skill but also qualifies him to compete in the prestigious 2026 Big West Track & Field Championships, scheduled for May 15 in Long Beach, California. In addition to his success in shot put, Marmarian has also qualified for the hammer throw event with a personal record of 55.10 meters (180 feet, 9 inches).
