Gary Chivichyan Hits Three-Pointer In First NBA G League Game
Gary Chivichyan took one shot and sent the large contingent of Armenian fans into a frenzy in Ontario, Calif.
“The Armenian Sniper” drained his only shot in the Agua Caliente Clippers’ 115-91 victory over the Santa Cruz Warriors Thursday night at the Toyota Arena.
Chivichyan had bounced around four different G League teams before signing with the Clippers earlier this week. He did not enter the game in Wednesday’s game against the Warriors, but made his debut with a minute to play in Thursday’s showdown.
There was a large contingent of Armenian supporters at the game and they all cheered loudly after Chivichyan’s three.
