NHL Free Agency: Zach Bogosian Returns To Tampa Bay Lightning With Three-Year Deal
Zach Bogosian is returning to western Florida.
The veteran NHL defenseman has signed a three-year deal worth $850,000 per season with the Tampa Bay Lightning, bringing him back to the team he won his only Stanley Cup with in 2020.
According to reports, Bogosian turned down other lucrative offers to be able to move back to Tampa Bay.
Bogosian spent the last year with the Toronto Maple Leafs and recorded four assists in 45 games. In 689 total NHL games, the New York native has 53 goals and 147 assists. He was the third overall pick in the 2008 NHL Draft.
