NHL Player Zach Bogosian Finally Has Day With The Stanley Cup
It took long enough, but former Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Zach Bogosian finally had his day with the Stanley Cup.
One season after winning the coveted NHL trophy as a member of the Lightning, Bogosian posted photographs of himself spending the day with the Stanley Cup with friends and family in his hometown of Massena, New York.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs ended in September and this resulted in a truncated offseason, which didn’t allow every player to take part in the customary tradition of getting the opportunity to spend a whole day with the Stanley Cup. Bogosian ended up signing and playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs this past season, only to see his former team win the Stanley Cup again this year.
But nevertheless, Bogosian still got the chance to have his special day thanks to his efforts during the 2019-2020 season with Tampa Bay.
